MX3D Partners with Phillips Corporation to Expand WAAM Access Across the United States

Share

MX3D is proud to announce its partnership with Phillips Corporation, a leading U.S. distributor of advanced manufacturing technologies. Through this collaboration, Phillips now serves as MX3D’s official reseller in the United States, bringing large-scale Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) systems and expertise to American industry and Federal customers in the USA.

A Strategic Partnership for Growth

Phillips Corporation’s decades of experience in industrial machinery, automation, and additive manufacturing make it the ideal partner for MX3D’s expansion in the U.S. market. With a strong service network and a deep understanding of production environments, Phillips provides American customers with local access to MX3D’s turnkey WAAM systems, complete with installation, training, and technical support.

This partnership builds on MX3D’s existing footprint in the U.S., where we have already contributed to a variety of industrial and research projects. Also in the federal space, we have US Army, i.e., ERDC Vicksburg, as a prime example of our M1 installed base in the USA. By joining forces with Phillips, MX3D can now scale its presence and accelerate adoption across key sectors such as energy, maritime, infrastructure, and manufacturing.

Bringing Industrial-Scale Metal 3D Printing Closer to Home

WAAM technology allows manufacturers to produce large, certifiable metal components quickly and efficiently using standard welding wire. With Phillips now providing sales and service from within the U.S., companies can access MX3D systems and expertise faster than ever, reducing lead times and simplifying implementation.

Phillips’ nationwide infrastructure enables customers to explore, test, and deploy WAAM solutions locally, supported by experienced engineers who understand both traditional and additive production workflows. This direct access unlocks new opportunities for on-demand production, digital inventory, and sustainable manufacturing across the American market.

Opening the Door to New Projects and Innovation

MX3D’s collaboration with Phillips represents more than a distribution agreement; it’s a step toward a stronger, more connected industrial network in North America. Together, we aim to support a new generation of projects that leverage robotic metal 3D printing to cut lead times, improve part performance, and enhance supply chain resilience.

As interest in large-scale additive manufacturing continues to grow, MX3D and Phillips are ready to guide U.S. companies through every stage of adoption, from first feasibility studies to full-scale production.
