The Role: Robotic Service Technician
We are looking for a practical, motivated service technician to support our growing operations in the MX3D workshop, which has ~15 robotic systems in a production environment. This role is ideal for a technically trained engineer with a hands-on mindset who enjoys learning, troubleshooting, and setting up and maintaining robotic welding systems.
This role involves supporting all technical aspects of our internal production and development activities. You will work closely with our commissioning and engineering teams and gradually learn to independently keep the workshop running smoothly.
Responsibilities
You will take ownership of key workshop tasks, such as:
- Keeping the MX3D workshop operational, organized and reliable
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
- Wire, assemble, and maintain robotic printing systems
- Support ongoing and upcoming installations
- Solve ad hoc problems to restore production as quickly as possible
Your Profile
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Has at least an MBO degree in a technical field (eg, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology); HBO candidates with a hands-on approach are also welcome
- Is practical, hands-on, and proactive
- Is skilled with tools and basic electronics (or willing to learn)
- Is organized, reliable, and able to work independently
- Can support multiple small projects simultaneously
- Speaks good English (Dutch is a plus)
Preferred/ Bonus Skills
- Experience with technical drawings or wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with robotic systems (ABB or KUKA)
- Background in workshop or technical support
