About Us
At MX3D, we’re redefining the boundaries of manufacturing through advanced robotic metal 3D printing. From art and architecture to industrial applications, our Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) technology enables the creation of large-scale metal structures with unprecedented freedom and efficiency. We’re always looking for talented, hands-on professionals to join our growing team in Amsterdam. If you’re passionate about robotics, automation, and digital fabrication, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As part of the MX3D team, you’ll work on cutting-edge robotic 3D printing systems—developing, optimizing, and operating ABB and KUKA robot setups for WAAM applications. Depending on your background, you may contribute to hardware integration, software development, process control, design for additive manufacturing, or R&D of new materials and printing strategies.
You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and researchers to push the limits of what’s possible in robotic fabrication.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome open applications from professionals with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- ABB or KUKA robotic programming and operation (RAPID, KRL, RobotStudio, or similar)
- Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) or robotic metal deposition
- Robotics integration (sensors, toolpaths, welding systems, or machine vision)
- Parametric design and toolpath generation (e.g., Grasshopper, Python, Rhino)
- Mechanical or mechatronic systems engineering
- Process optimization and experimental development in additive manufacturing
Who You Are
- You have a technical background (e.g., Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or Industrial Design Engineering)
- You’re hands-on, creative, and eager to experiment
- You enjoy working in an innovative, fast-paced R&D environment
- You’re based in (or willing to relocate to) Amsterdam with EU working rights
Why MX3D
- Join a pioneering company at the forefront of robotic metal 3D printing
- Work in an open, collaborative environment with cutting-edge technology
- Contribute to high-impact projects in architecture, design, and industry
- Be part of a team shaping the future of digital manufacturing
Interested?
If you’re excited by the future of large-scale robotic 3D printing and want to be part of our journey, we’d love to hear from you.
Send your CV and short motivation letter to jobs@mx3d.com and tell us how you could contribute to the MX3D mission.
Would you like me to tailor this toward a specific role type (e.g., robotics engineer, process engineer, or fabrication specialist) while keeping it as an open listing? That would make it slightly more focused while remaining broad enough for multiple applicants.
