Part of the “Dragon bench” series was the “Doha Dragon Bench”, which was commissioned by Joris Laarman Lab. The Doha Dragon Bench was launched during February 2024 at the Doha Design Biennial in the district of Msheireb.
MX3D views this print as evidence that WAAM technology can surpass conventional manufacturing obstacles like intricate designs and manufacturing adaptability, introducing new manufacturing possibilities for diverse industries.
The Doha Dragon Bench was created using Stainless Steel, employing MX3D’s MetalXL software for a seamless printing process and the M1 Metal Am System for onsite production, enabling geometric freedom and automated processes.
