Research Projects
PIONEER
Today’s globalised market has created various challenges for European manufacturing companies. To overcome those, EU companies are called to adopt technologies that will help them adapt and improve product quality while reducing costs.
TRACKS 4 CRAFTS
Forging A Hybrid Craft for Metals aims to create awareness in the Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) methodology for the metal craft ecosystem by creating a pool of informed and trained professionals to support the future demand of WAAM produced goods
IAMM
IAMM is a collaborative partnership between three universities of applied sciences, supported by specialized manufacturing companies, research institutions, and network organizations, all working together to promote the adoption of metal 3D printing.
INTEGRADDE
The goal of INTEGRADDE is to develop a novel end-to-end solution capable of demonstrating the potential of Directed Energy Deposition (DED) processes for the manufacturing of certified large metal components in strategic metalworking sectors.
WELD GALAXY
This project aims to develop an automated calibration module that can accurately determine welding parameters for varying layer thicknesses.
TRINITY
The project on hybrid metal AM aims to reduce production lead time for repairing pipeline leakages. A collaborative demonstration by MX3D, TEAM, and TIAT to investigate the potential of hybrid WAAM in the oil and gas industry.
