The Role: Sales Internship
We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Sales Intern to support MX3D in expanding our customer base for innovative 3D metal-printed parts. This role is focused on sales, customer engagement, and understanding how advanced manufacturing technologies translate into commercial opportunities for various industries.
You will actively support the sales processes of MX3D and work in the commercial team across our core offerings:
- Print-on-Demand Services – custom metal components printed in our Amsterdam facility
- M1/MX Metal AM Systems – turnkey robotic 3D metal printing systems
Duration: 4-6 months
Key Responsibilities
Customer Outreach & Sales Support:
- Identify and approach potential clients interested in robotic 3D metal printing
- Support the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to follow-up communication.
- Assist in gathering customer requirements and discussing initial concepts.
- Learn how the team evaluates design files/CAD inputs and converts customer needs into tailored proposals.
- Help prepare quotes and commercial documentation
- Maintain CRM databases and support consistent relationship management.
- Assist in preparing materials for conferences, fairs, and exhibitions where MX3D showcases its technology, capabilities and work.
- Occasionally support the team at events to gain experience in customer interaction and professional networking.
Your Profile
What you bring to the table:
- Currently studying (or recently graduated) in Business and/or Engineering
- Sales experience is a plus
- Strong interest in sales, business, technology, and manufacturing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools is a plus.
- Enthusiastic about working in an international, fast-paced, high-tech environment.
